Ebbie's Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
Santa with a cookie and a glass of milk.
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter
  • 3/4 Cup of Jiff Peanut Butter - Creamy
  • 1/2 Cup of Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 1 1/4 Cups of Flour
  • 3/4 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Unwrapped Hershey's Chocolate Kisses

Cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.

Sift together dry ingredients. Blend in creamed mixture.

Shape into one inch balls and roll into granulated sugar. Flatten with a fork in crisscross style. (Makes 3-4 dozen cookies.)

Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 375° for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from oven and place a Hershey's Chocolate Kiss in the middle of each cookie and slightly twist to secure on cookie.

Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and let cool on a plate(s) and then place the plate(s) of cookies in the refrigerator to cool before stacking in a cookie jar or tin.
